Not Your Shop-Only Cutting Table
Most cutting systems assume you have a dedicated space with a concrete floor and a permanent power drop. This one assumes you don't. It's a heavy-duty portable CNC cutter that handles the same work as a stationary system but travels to where the material sits. The 1200W air-cooled laser source puts out enough power to cut 10mm mild steel, 8mm stainless, and 6mm aluminum while running on standard 220V single-phase power. No water chiller, no three-phase conversion, no coolant top-ups. Just set it up, dial in your settings, and get to work.

The frame starts as heavy-gauge steel sections, welded in jigs that hold geometry within spec throughout the welding process. Then it goes through stress relief: thermal cycling that relaxes internal stresses from welding. Skip this step, and the frame slowly twists over time – you'll notice it as a gradual loss of accuracy, parts that don't fit, rework that eats into your margins. We don't skip it. After stress relief, the rail mounting surfaces get machined flat and parallel, so the guide rails sit exactly where they should.
The rail system uses hardened steel rails with precision-ground bearing surfaces. We tested softer rails early on and watched them develop flat spots within a year of regular use. That shows up as inconsistent cuts – a wobble in the cut line where the carriage hits the worn spot. The hardened rails hold up to daily movement and repeated positioning without that degradation.
The laser source is air-cooled, which removes an entire maintenance category from your schedule. No coolant to buy, no pump to replace, no antifreeze to add before winter. The 1200W source gives you enough power for most fabrication work while keeping the overall machine weight manageable at 62kg.
Mild steel up to 10mm – This is the machine's comfort zone. The cut quality is consistent, dross is minimal with proper speed settings, and edge squareness stays within tolerance. For thinner material down to 2mm, you can run at full speed and get production-quality parts.
01
Stainless steel up to 8mm – The cut edge actually comes out cleaner than mild steel because stainless doesn't form as much slag. The challenge is thermal management. Stainless holds heat, so if you're cutting multiple small parts from one sheet, program your path to spread the heat around rather than cutting all the parts in one corner.
02
Aluminum up to 6mm – Reflective material, so you lose some beam energy. We recommend a shorter focal length and higher frequency settings. Edge quality won't match steel, but for structural and fabrication work, it's perfectly adequate. Keep the protective lens clean – aluminum vapor deposits on optics faster than steel or stainless.
03
Galvanized steel – We're straightforward about this one. The zinc coating vaporizes and creates a cloud that scatters the beam. You can cut it, but expect to clean the lens more often and replace nozzles sooner. Good fume extraction helps, but it doesn't eliminate the consumable wear.

Factory Production Process
Every machine follows this sequence:
Raw Material – Steel sections with mill certifications.
Frame Welding – Welded in positioning jigs.
Stress Relief – Thermal stabilization to prevent warping.
Machining – Rail surfaces ground to specification.
Assembly – Racks, pinions, servo drives installed.
Testing – 24-hour burn-in cutting 6mm mild steel with accuracy verification.
Packing – Crated with protective bracing.
Shipment – Documented and prepared for export.
The testing phase is thorough – we run the machine through its full motion range, cut test parts at different speeds, and verify that the calibration holds. Each unit gets a test report that stays on file.
Product Features
Heavy-duty welded frame – Stress-relieved and machined after welding. This means the frame holds its geometry through repeated moves and positions. Cheaper units with bolt-together frames work loose over time; ours doesn't.
High cutting precision – ±0.1mm positioning accuracy is the specification. In practice, on properly calibrated units with consistent material, users see results that are tighter. The servo drives maintain position without losing steps.
Low maintenance cost – The air-cooled laser source removes an entire cost center. No coolant, no pumps, no filters. Just nozzles and lenses as consumables.
Energy-saving laser source – The 1200W source draws less power than equivalent systems from other manufacturers. For a single-shift shop, the difference shows up on the monthly utility statement.
Stable servo transmission – Servo motors provide consistent positioning regardless of load. Stepper motors can lose steps under heavy cutting loads; servos don't.
Easy installation – Set up in half a day with standard tools. No special electrical work required.
What type of cutting jobs is this portable system best suited for?
Field repair and maintenance work, bridge and structural steel on-site modifications, small to medium fabrication shops with limited floor space, and any application where moving the material to a fixed cutting table is impractical. It handles up to 10mm mild steel and 8mm stainless.
How does the laser cutter compare to a portable plasma cutter?
Laser produces cleaner edges with less dross and narrower kerf width than plasma. CNC control gives you more accurate corners and better repeatability. Plasma can cut thicker material at lower cost. For up to 10mm steel with a CNC system, laser is the cleaner, more precise option.
What electrical requirements does this machine need?
Standard 220V AC, single-phase, 50/60Hz. A dedicated 15-amp circuit is recommended. No three-phase power, no transformer, no special electrical work. The control box includes the necessary power conditioning.
How durable is the portable frame for regular job-site use?
The frame is heavy-gauge welded steel with stress relief treatment and machined rail surfaces. We've seen units from 2016 still in daily use on construction sites. The key is the stress relief step – it prevents the frame from warping over time, which is what kills cheaper portable units.
What's the delivery timeline and warranty coverage?
Standard delivery is 15-30 days depending on destination. The machine has a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, with the laser source covered for 2 years. Consumable parts – nozzles, lenses, ceramic rings – are not covered beyond initial supply.
