FAQ
Can I cut material that's slightly rusty or has mill scale?
You can, but the results won't be as good. Rust and mill scale absorb the beam differently than clean steel. The cut quality will be inconsistent and the edge will be rougher. If you need clean edges, use clean material. If you have to cut rusty material, increase your feed rate slightly and check your focus position. One customer runs a cleaning pass on rusty material before cutting.

What's the best way to store spare lenses and nozzles?
Keep them in a clean, dry place, ideally in their original packaging. Don't leave them exposed to shop dust. Never touch the lens surface with your fingers - oil from your skin degrades the coating.
