It provides sufficient power for welding 3-4mm stainless or carbon steel in one go. It's also not so powerful that you're frequently struggling with burn-through on thinner materials. On a 1500W machine, water cooling is actually necessary to effectively use its power, not just an extra feature.

Air-cooled setups tend to vary by ±5°C as they heat up, which impacts weld quality. Water cooling, however, maintains a stable temperature within ±1°C. This reliability ensures consistent welding performance throughout the day, preventing power reductions and mid-shift delays.

Common Problem

What's the difference between 1500W and lower power systems?

800W handles up to 3mm steel. 1500W handles up to 4mm and welds significantly faster on the same thickness. The 1500W system also supports dual-wire feeding for wider welds.

How long does it take to learn to operate?

About 1-2 hours of training. The system has preset welding parameters for common materials - select the material and thickness, and the machine sets the power, speed, and wobble parameters automatically.

What does maintenance involve?

Clean the protective lens daily. Check water quality monthly. Change coolant annually. Clean the chiller filters periodically. That's about it.

Can this machine weld aluminum as well as steel?

Yes, up to 2-3mm in a single pass. Aluminum requires slightly different parameter settings due to its thermal conductivity. The machine supports both continuous and modulated modes for different materials.
