Now, let's talk about what holds this machine together. We didn't just pick materials because they looked pretty in a catalog. We chose them based on real factory conditions.

Chassis and Shell: The main housing is a powder-coated, high-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy. 1. Is this only for cleaning, or does it weld too?
It does both. The core hardware is a high-energy laser source. It generates heat-how you focus that heat depends on the lens and the speed you pull the gun. For cleaning, you use a defocused beam. For welding, you use a focused beam. It's the same machine, different technique.

2. Do I need a safety enclosure or PPE?
Definitely a laser safety class 4 environment. You must wear the included protective goggles (OD5+). We also strongly recommend a welding helmet for full face protection. Never operate it with bare eyes, even for a second.

3. Will this overheat if I run it all day?
The chiller is designed for industrial use, but continuous 100% duty at 40°C ambient will trigger a thermal alarm. In our experience, you don't need 100% duty. You naturally stop between workpiece transfers. That break is enough to cool the system.

4. What happens if the fiber cable breaks?
The cable is reinforced, but if you snag it on machinery, it can crimp. We supply replacement cables pre-tested. You can swap the connector in 15 minutes-no special tools. The signal pins are color-coded, so you can't plug it in wrong.

5. I have rust inside a pipe. Can I use this?
Only if the pipe diameter is larger than 4 inches. The gun head is about 3 inches wide, so you can't fit it into tiny tubes. For internal pipe cleaning, look at our rotary head attachment, which is sold separately. We recommend testing a sample first-we offer free sample processing for your parts.
