Here's how it works

This laser cutter functions like other CNC lasers, with a gantry moving a cutting head across material according to digital plans. However, its immense size changes everything.

The modular bed is a standout feature. Instead of a single solid piece, it's made of separate, independent modules that can be easily expanded by adding more. Separating the bed frame from the worktable also minimizes heat distortion during cutting and shields the machine when handling heavy plates.

The gantry is built from sturdy, welded steel in a box-beam design, a departure from the aluminum extrusions in lighter machines. This solid construction prevents bending, even when cutting thick metal, unlike standard gantries that can flex under pressure.

Our recommendation: a reinforced concrete floor, a minimum of 200mm thick, with steel reinforcement and proper leveling. This foundation must be capable of supporting the machine's weight without any settling or cracking.

What happens if you cut corners on the foundation? The machine can settle unevenly, throwing the bed out of level. This leads to the gantry binding on the rails, resulting in crooked parts and decreased accuracy. You'll end up spending more time re-leveling than cutting.

1. Incorrect autofocus head adjustment: The autofocus head manages this automatically, so trust its capabilities. One customer spent an entire day on manual focus adjustments when the system was already calibrated correctly.

Yes, with an optional bevel cutting head. Supports A, V, Y, X, and K-type bevel cuts up to 45°. Cuts the bevel in the same pass as the straight cut-no secondary operation.

What's the warranty?

The mechanical structure has a 1-year warranty. The laser source has a 2-year warranty. Consumables like lenses and nozzles are not covered.

Do I need a special foundation?
