A Portable CNC Flame Cutting Machine is a computer-controlled thermal cutting system that uses an oxy-fuel flame-a combination of oxygen and a fuel gas like propane or acetylene-to cut through carbon steel. Unlike plasma cutting, which relies on an ionized gas arc, flame cutting works through a chemical reaction: the flame heats the steel to its ignition temperature, and a jet of high-purity oxygen (minimum 99.5%) causes the metal to oxidize and burn away along the programmed path. Can a portable CNC flame cutting machine cut stainless steel or aluminum?

No. Flame cutting relies on an oxidation reaction that only occurs in carbon steel. Stainless steel and aluminum don't oxidize in the same way, so the cutting oxygen jet won't sustain a cut.
