It integrates both plasma and oxy-fuel cutting capabilities. The bilateral drive system guarantees the gantry stays perfectly aligned. This dual-process feature allows you to choose plasma for thinner metal or oxy-fuel for thicker steel, providing versatile cutting options.
Installation and Setup Guide
Area Preparation: Ensure your workspace has a level floor. Special reinforcement isn't required, but it must be stable. You'll need a 220V or 380V power source. Compressed air for the plasma must be clean and dry, as moisture will quickly damage consumables. A separate gas supply is needed for the flame, consisting of oxygen and fuel gas.
Assembly Process: Bolt the rail sections together to form the required cutting length. The gantry is then mounted onto these rails. Install the torches and the height controller. Synchronize the bilateral drive motors. Expect this stage to take approximately one day with remote guidance.
Electrical and Gas Connections: Connect the main power supply, the plasma source, and the compressed air line. Subsequently, connect the oxygen and fuel gas lines. Power on the system, home the axes, and confirm proper motion.
Software Configuration: Install the nesting software on your computer. You have the option to import CAD files or utilize the 48 built-in graphic patterns. Transfer your selected files via USB. Then, establish the cutting parameters for both plasma and flame.
Test Cuts: Conduct test cuts using scrap material to fine-tune parameters and the height controller.
Timeline: Budget one to two days from arrival to completion of your first production cut.
Plasma Gear: Give your electrodes, nozzles, and swirl rings a look every day. Swap them out when cuts start looking rough, and don't forget to keep extras on hand.
Torch Height Control (THC): Double-check this before you kick off any job to make sure it's good to go for production.
Air: Make sure to drain the moisture every day – it's the biggest culprit for problems. First thing in the morning is best.
Gas Lines: Got any leaks? Best to find out. Leaks aren't just dangerous; they're costing you money.
Rails: A weekly clean and lube will save your bearings from that gritty metal dust.
Drive Sync: Once a month, test this by running the gantry all the way out and back. If it snags or makes weird noises, time to check the settings.
Also, track your arc-on time. You'll know it's time for new consumables when the cut quality visibly suffers.





FAQ
No – this machine cuts flat plate only. The gantry moves across a flat table. For pipe cutting, you need a different machine with rotary chucks. If you're primarily cutting plate, this is the right machine. If you're cutting pipes, we have other machines for that.
Yes, but change your approach. Aluminum conducts heat away quickly – you need to cut faster than steel. Use nitrogen as the assist gas for a cleaner cut. Don't use the same settings as steel – they don't work. And clean the plate surface – aluminum oxide can cause erratic arc behavior.
Keep it in a dry place – moisture ruins electronics and guide rails. Clean and lightly oil the rails before storage. Cover the machine with a breathable tarp – plastic traps moisture. Don't store it outside, even under cover – condensation damages electronics.
Your consumables. The electrode and nozzle wear gradually – the electrode forms a crater, the nozzle orifice enlarges. Cut quality degrades slowly. That's why we recommend logging arc-on time and replacing consumables after a set number of hours. Replace them early – it's cheaper than scrapping parts.
