Designed for light-to-medium fabrication, a mini CNC plasma cutter is a scaled-down, numerically controlled thermal cutting system. It works by creating an electrical arc between the electrode in the torch and the workpiece. Compressed air is then channeled through the torch, where the arc turns it into plasma, reaching extreme temperatures of over 20,000°C. The plasma, channeled through a nozzle, melts the metal surface, and the forceful gas jet expels the molten material from the cut. The 'mini' aspect refers to its significantly smaller footprint-generally under 1.5m in cutting width and 3m in length-and a less complex structure than standard gantry cutters, making it a great fit for hobbyists, small workshops, and light fabrication tasks with limited space.

Plasma Power Supply

This unit takes your AC power and turns it into the DC power your plasma cutter needs. You can adjust the output current; a higher setting means you can cut thicker metal faster.

Plasma Torch
