1. Plasma cutting machines used on-site should be equipped with rainproof, moisture-proof, and sun-proof sheds, and should be equipped with appropriate fire-fighting equipment.
2. When cutting at heights, safety belts must be worn. Fire prevention measures should be taken around and below the cutting area, and a dedicated person should supervise the process.
3. When cutting pressurized containers, sealed containers, oil drums, pipes, or workpieces contaminated with flammable gases and solutions, the pressure inside the container and pipes should be released first, and flammable gases and solutions should be eliminated. Then, toxic, harmful, and flammable substances should be rinsed off. For containers containing residual grease, they should be rinsed with steam and alkaline water first, and the caps should be opened. After confirming that the container is clean, it should be filled with clean water before cutting. Measures should be taken to prevent electric shock, poisoning, and suffocation when welding or cutting inside containers. Ventilation holes should be left when cutting sealed containers; if necessary, ventilation equipment should be installed at the inlet and outlet. The lighting voltage inside the container should not exceed 12V, and the welder and workpiece should be insulated. A dedicated person should supervise the process outside the container.
4. Cutting is strictly prohibited inside containers that have been painted or coated with plastic.
5. Cutting is strictly prohibited on pressure vessels and pipelines under pressure, electrical equipment, load-bearing structural parts, and containers containing flammable or explosive materials.
6. Welding and cutting are prohibited in the open air during rainy weather. When working in damp areas, operators should stand on insulated surfaces and wear insulated shoes.
7. After work, power, gas, and water supplies should be disconnected.
